Job Description:1-5 years of experience. Formulates and defines systems scope andobjectives based on both user needs and a thorough understanding of businesssystems and industry requirements.DFHV is seeking a Business Analyst with 1-5 years of experience. Excellentverbal and written communication skills are required. The role of theBusiness Analyst is to work as a liaison between the business units,technology teams and support teams to assist with documentations.Experience with Salesforce, Kony, Quickbase and SharePoint are a "nice tohave".DFHV is seeking a Business Analyst to perform the following duties:i. Consults with agency functional unit(s) to identify, defineand document business needs and objectives, operational procedures,problems, input and output requirements, levels of systems access andconfiguration specification.ii. Acts as a liaison between end-users, technical analysts,information technology analysts, consultants and others in the analysis,design, configuration, testing and maintenance of various systems to ensureoptimal operational performance.iii. Performs QA/QC software testingiv. Develops, documents, and/or updates the Standard OperatingProcedures (SOP), guidelines, and processes.v. Tracks and fully documents changes for functional andbusiness specifications; writes detailed universally understood proceduresfor permanent records and for use in training.vi. Identifies opportunities for improving business processesthrough quality assurance effort, systems and/or non-system driver changes;assists in the preparation of proposals to develop new systems and/oroperational changes.vii. Plans, organizes and conducts business processre-engineering/improvement projects and/or management reviews of operationsor projects.viii. Researches and prepares statistical reports using internaland external data, and consolidates information into cohesive andunderstandable correspondence or other written form for use in managementdecision-making.ix. Conducts change impact analysis to assess the potentialimplications of changes.x. Participates in user acceptance testing and testing of newsystem functionality.xi. Develops training curriculum and conducts formal trainingsessions covering assigned systems module or changed processes andprocedures.xii. Directs or participates in studies of new and existingprograms and special projects to determine feasibility, resolve problemsincluding organizational, procedural, technical and fiscal research andanalysis; develops policy and procedures to improve efficiency,cost-effectiveness, and/or improve internal and external customer service;develops information system documentation to support efficient operations;prepares reports and written findings and recommendations; and monitorschanges.xiii.
