A day in the life…

The Learning Specialist – Supply Chain on the Learning & Leadership team collaborates with the learning business partner as well as business and HR leadership to ensure the effective implementation of learning programs and performance improvement solutions that support business priorities and objectives. The successful candidate must be comfortable collaborating at all levels of the organization, including end users, subject matter experts and senior corporate leaders. This role requires someone with outstanding consulting and planning skills, and a commitment to people development.

  • Build relationships with business leaders, peer learning and leadership experts, and human resources to develop and maintain an understanding of business priorities from corporate to sites.

  • Consult with business partners to identify and conduct root cause analysis while assessing solutions that will resolve systemic problems and provide positive business impact.

  • Collaborate with Supply Chain learning and leadership peers for solution alternatives as well as the in-house design team for learning solutions.

  • Execute full lifecycle deployment of learning programs and performance solutions, which include stakeholder management, task completion, programmatic communications, and LMS administration. Scope can range from local site through entire SC network and corporate deployments.

  • Demonstrate project/program management skills from initial scoping and goal statement through budgeting, deployment, and business impact data collection/measurement.

  • Effectively prioritize and manage multiple priorities as well as overlapping learning and performance solution deployments.

  • Deliver exemplary internal customer service and teamwork through strong relationships, professionalism, and ownership of assigned learning and performance improvement projects.

  • Apply Lean/Continuous Improvement tools and techniques to conduct root cause analysis for learning and performance improvement opportunities.

  • Ability to effectively facilitate learning programs in both an in-class and virtual environments for an optimal user experience.

You own this if you have…

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

  • 3-5 years adult learning techniques and methodologies

  • 3 years conducting needs analysis. Consulting experience a plus.

  • Demonstrated experience presenting and facilitating learning and group experience, both in-person and virtual.

  • Experience in Human Resources, change management, and agile project management preferred

  • Experience in business area, (e.g., brick-and-mortar retail, e-commerce, call center, finance) preferred.

  • Ability to lead with influence and build strong relationship with peers and leadership.

  • Strong proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with learning management systems (LMS). Experience with eLearning authoring software a plus.

  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication, and strong interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage diverse projects in a fast-paced, dynamic, evolving environment
