As a Talent Acquisition Program Specialist, you will support the talent acquisition and strategy initiatives for the Company. This role will manage the recruiting programs nationally for URI and provides day to day support for internal recruiting staff and the RPO.

  • Partners with region HR Directors and corporate HR to identify and respond to talent and workforce planning needs.

  • Maintains current and/or develops acquiring talent programs to include alignment with the Recruitment Scorecard. This will include current vendor relationships and establishing new vendor relationships.

  • Coordinates and develops the UR employment brand. Partners with Marketing and Communications to ensure the career website, recruiting collateral, etc. are robust to attract talent. Includes the design and development of other sourcing avenues, to include but not limited to, social media, etc.

  • Partners with and provides ongoing support, as needed, to United Rentals recruiting parnter. Takes a lead in actively ensuring the overall recruitment process and procedures are efficient and looks for continuous improvement opportunities. Supplies overall reporting of recruitment activity for the company.

  • Coordinates recruitment efforts with all recruitment vendors. Ensure that all vendor material is up to date and appropriately utilized. This includes posting process both internally and externally (Job Watch, Hot Jobs etc). In addition, coordinate policy, process and efficiencies with our third party recruiting agencies (temp and direct placement)

  • Support our Enterprise Talent process and best practices. Including partnership with HRD/Management.

  • Drives efficiencies and respond to all general recruitment and employment inquiries.

  • Maintain a requisition workload with assigned positions/region and Region Recruiter and Scorecard responsibility.

  • Supports additional projects, hiring manager training, ATS job description updates etc. as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in the area of Human Resources, Business (or a related field) or equivalent work experience.

  • 5+ years of recruitment experience in a high paced, service orientated work environment.

  • Ability to maintain highly confidential information

  • Hiring management and applicant tracking system experience.

  • PeopleSoft / ADP RM ATS Software a plus
